Product Description

We offer superior quality fine chemicals such as Benzoic Acid-IP/BP/EP/USP, which is a colorless crystalline compound. This salt is widely used as a food preservation agent and also in treatment of bacterial skin diseases. Molecular weight of the compound is 122.12 and chemical formula C7H6O2. Also known a benzene carboxylic acid, the substance is prepared through oxidation process involving alkaline KmNo4 and benzyl chloride. The chemical has mild odour and is completely soluble in all solutions.
